Our clients spent many years looking for the right site to build their forever home. They initially approached us in 2016 and we started a collaborative journey to design their dream home. The site is on the edge of a conservation area and required a sensitive approach, retaining key views, responding to the existing massing context, and the constraints of an on-site substation. The project is about to start on site and is a sleek and elegant design working with locally used materials and providing generous ground floor living space, four bedrooms and garage space. We worked with client and landscape designer from very early on to ensure the garden design mirrored the key design principles. The project includes a MVHR system, mega flow system for hot water, PV and Solar water heating panels and the building envelope exceeds current thermal requirements.
We are very much looking forward to seeing the build develop on site.
